  • Fewer pedestrians and tourists
  • Softer, more even light
  • Easier to photograph on the narrow streets
  • Great for clean, editorial-style portraits

     

Late afternoon - 1–2 hours before sunset
  • Warm, beautiful light
  • Long shadows can add character to the streets
  • Great for romantic couples and engagement photos
  • More people, so we’ll need to work around the crowds
   
Midday
  • Can work well because SoHo has plenty of buildings that create shade.
  • The strong contrast between sunlight and shadows can also create an interesting fashion/editorial look.
